                   The Accounts Department is under the direct control of Sh. H.S. Kandhola, PCS, Joint Commissioner-II and is headed by Sh. Nasib Singh, Chief Accounts Officer. Section Officers and Twelve Officials work under this Branch.

4. Disposal of Commercial Property of the Corporation.

5. Maintenance of the Cash Book of the Head Office.

6. Drawing and disbursement of Pension and Provident Fund.

3. Financial Advices to the Fire Wing, Engg. Wing, Head Office, Sanction Of Medical Bills, Assured Career Progression Scheme

4. Pre-Audit Of all types Of Bills

5. Examination Of Proposals Of So(Mech.), SAE-II/Caretaker Regarding Financial Matters, Sanction etc.


Section Officer (Accounts-III)

Responsibilities

1. Release of funds against the requirements of the Pre-Audited Bill to all the D.D.Os.

2. Financial Management such as investment of funds on Receipt of Grant-In-Aid and Reconciliation of Interest with Banks of all Savings Banks Accounts/Suvida Accounts, Maintenance Of Investment Register Etc..

3. Maintenance of main cash book in the Head Office and reconcilation with Banks .

4. Issuance of instructions regarding proper submission Of requirements, Watching Of expenditure,

5. Maintenance of Register for the receipts of deposit Works, M.P.L.A.D. other receipts from Chandigarh Administration in respect of Transferred Employees.

6.Maintenance of classified abstract and submission of receipt and expenditure Account for the Month of May, 2001 of Head Office, Sub Office Manimajra and Enforcement Wing. Checking of Accounts Statement of Estate Branch
