I feel honoured and excited to serve as the Mayor of our City Beautiful, Chandigarh. During my time as a councillor, I was able to vote for and experience some amazing changes in the City Beautiful. I grew up in this area and now, live, work and play in Chandigarh and appreciate where we have come from and the reality of the city today. I recognise the need to remember our roots, while also thinking progressively towards the future development of the city. Chandigarh is known and loved for its beautiful city feel and welcoming presence towards those who visit or move here. As we continue to grow, I will be mindful of this and do my best to maintain that unique quaintness that is City Beautiful Chandigarh. I look forward to guiding city beautiful into the future, while keeping the best interests of all stakeholders including residents, business owners and future generations in mind.
